What do you think are the advantages of corporate blogging? Both EXTERNAL and INTERNAL usage for the organisation ?
The IIMB PGSEM application for 2008 had a SOP section which required 5 short essays to be written. It is to show how democratic and "open" the organizations are. Press statements are too formal and are usually done by top management. But when a technical lead or developer blogs about what he/she is working on, it sort of becomes an informal way of communication. Adds to the "coolness" of the company.
